Experience a turn-of-the-century Christmas at Sauder Village! The flicker of a candle-lit lantern will light the way as our costumed guide takes small groups on a journey to meet historical characters in the 1910 Homestead, the District 16 Schoolhouse, St. Mark’s Church and the Elmira Depot. Guests will be invited to experience the holiday customs and celebrations of the 1900s and hear stories about Christmas’ past and the history of Northwest Ohio. At the church, all will join in a hymn sing and receive a special gift appropriate to the late 1800s. We hope you will join us for this special holiday experience at Sauder Village. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.
Also the Sauder Village Gift Shop, Lauber General Store & the Herb Shop are open during the tours for holiday shopping.
