Special Guest Artist: Adina Denton Huckins
Adina Denton Huckins, of West Fork, Arkansas, grew up in a
family in which literally everyone carved. Therefore, she developed
an early fascination for subtractive sculpture in any form, but she
loves wood for its
warmth
and design flexibility. Her classes focus on teaching accurate
anatomy and expressiveness of design whether the subject is
stylized, caricature or realism. Adina has won numerous awards,
including a winning entry at the 2009 International Wood Carvers
Congress. Sauder Village is excited that Adina will be joining us at our 2010 Woodcarvers' Show & Sale.
