2015 Quilt Show Special
Workshops with Bill Kerr from the Modern Quilt Studio will be available Wednesday, April 29th - Saturday, May 2nd. His website has much more information on Bill and his wife and quilting partner Weeks Ringle.
Bill’s latest line of fabric for Andover Fabric, The Color Collection, was designed to offer quilters richly colored tone-on-tone fabrics that work as well with modern quilts as traditional ones. The thirty fabrics include two ranges of values. Not only do these values make these versatile additions to your stash, they are great for creating transparent effects as shown in their Jewel Box quilt.
The Color Collection fabrics are available at Threads of Tradition.
Mary Clark of Sylvania Ohio has been quilting for over 40 years and is known for her exquisite needlework. She has taught primarily applique workshops at various quilt shops in this region. During the 2015 Sauder Village Quilt Show, Mary will be offering a 3 day workshop, teaching numerous dimensional applique techniques. Working with Mary’s original design, each student will stitch a 28” applique block suitable for either a beautiful wall hanging or a center medallion for a bed size quilt.
