The week is made up of the exhibition, a grouping of creative demonstrators as well as full-day workshops all set in the charming setting of Historic Sauder Village, with beautiful accommodations at the Heritage Inn or Sauder Campground and the delicious food of the Village restaurants and bakery. Hands-on activities and plenty of shopping opportunities at Threads of Tradition Quilt Shop will add to the events of this fun-filled week. Quilt Show at Sauder Village includes...

Exhibit Open to the Public from... Tuesday, May 1– Sunday, May 6, 2012

More than 400 beautiful quilts will hang full length in this spectacular six-day Quilt Show in spacious Founder's Hall. So there's always a brand new kaleidoscope of color, pattern, size and design. Once a quilt has been exhibited it can not be re-entered into this popular show. Entries accepted in twenty-three categories. Featured Teacher... Karen Kay Buckley of Carlisle PA, Guest Artist, Author and Teacher. Click here to learn more about Karen and her work. Categories... All pieces are exhibited in one of twenty-three categories, including the 2012 Challenge "Star Light, Star Bright". Everyone is welcome to participate! Submitting your quilts for the Exhibit... You are encouraged to submit a quilt for the show. Admission Tickets... Whether you and a friend are coming, or you are bringing a whole bus group.

Quilt Raffle

You could win this beautiful quilt created by Sauder Village quilters! This “North Star with Vine and Berry Border” quilt measures 94” x 108” and fits a queen size bed.  Primarily hunter green and burgundy, the quilt is hand-quilted and the border is hand appliquéd. Raffle tickets will be available at the Quilt Show for $1 each or 6 for $5.  Proceeds will benefit the Junior Historian Program at Sauder Village.
