Dear Fellow Rug Hookers,
Rug Hooking Week at Sauder Village is a time for thousands of enthusiast & visitors to view our gallery style exhibit of 450 to 650 pieces plus more than 200 pieces displayed by our vendors. This year we are offering over 30 fun and creative classes by outstanding teachers from around the country in a wide variety of topics, techniques, and skill levels. Come network with other fiber artists from more than 40 states, Canada, and internationally too.
In addition to the 6 categories in our Main Exhibit in which everyone is welcome to submit their work; we also invite fiber artists working in mixed media, multi-dimensional pieces, wool applique, proddy, quilling, ruching, shearing, punch hooking, punch needle, wool felting, and braiding mediums to submit their work to our exhibit. This year, we have gathered a number of unique Featured (contemporary and antique) collections, Special Exhibits, the exclusive work of the Finalists & Honorable Mentions of Celebrations 25th Anniversary edition, Group Exhibits, and this year’s “Year of the Sheep” Theme Challenge Exhibit.
