Although a visit to Sauder Village makes a full day, we
can customize additional programming for you. We can create a program for your
groups on-site at Sauder Village or at a location of your choice.
Choose one of the following programs or we can work with you to create
something unique from an idea of your own! Programs are based on availability. For rates, class
sizes and more information, contact our Group Reservationist at
800.590.9755. All of these programs unless
otherwise noted, can be offered when the Village is both open or
closed.

Farmer. He will talk about how farming was done in the days
prior to computers, satellites and air conditioned tractors. He
will also talk about how he presents this history at Sauder
Village. NOTE... This program
is very adaptable. Weather permitting, the Historic Farmer can take
guests outside and show them some demonstrations in the barn.
Demonstrations are seasonal and can include oxen use, hay loading,
threshing and the like. If it is out of season or the weather is
bad, this program can be presented as a talk with slides. If a
group has a particular area of interest in farming
(such as animals or draft horses...), we
can adapt the program to meet your interests.

centuries. NOTE... This program
is very adaptable. Weather permitting, Susan can take guests
