Historic Village Happenings...
The Historic Village has been brimming
with excitement as nearly 14,000 school children visited the village
this spring! Pioneer Settlement has been a wonderful new
addition to help tell the story chronologically as guests see the
advancements over the years of those early pioneers.
Our Curator, Tracie Evans has been busy making changes to the
Museum building by adding a few new exhibits for guests to
enjoy. Included are Incubators, Broods & Chicks, Oh My!, Time for
Fun, children’s toys from the early 1900s, ice harvesting, funeral
exhibits and a collection of Sauder tables.
Again this season we have numerous
special events planned - be sure to
check our
Events Page
for a complete list of 2010 Special Events happening at Sauder
Village!
We hope that you and your family will join us for another summer of
fun as we plan many special events and activities this season in the
Historic Village!
