St. Mark's Lutheran Church
The heart of any small community was the church. People of many faiths helped to settle this part of Northwest Ohio. St. Mark’s Lutheran church purchased this building in 1880. As was typical of many early churches, this one was used as a church, school and Sunday school. Guests can sit and sing favorite hymns to the tune of a hundred year old pump organ and learn about the important role faith had in settling the Ohio frontier.
