Mike
Runyon was named one of America's Top 200 Craftsmen by Early American Homes
magazine in 1998. His work in 18th and 19th century traditional tinware includes
everything from cookie cutters to finely crafted chandeliers.
The building that houses Mike's shop was on the Historic Sauder Village
property when founder Erie Sauder purchased it in 1971. To move it to its
current location on the Village Green, Erie and his men removed the siding and
added the east wing. Based on its original location, the building was probably a
granary.
